Short definitions of the terms used across Nomosis.

A quick reference for the terms you'll see throughout Nomosis.

WorkspaceThe context you work in; holds your data and settings.
Personal workspaceYour own private workspace, always just you.
OrganizationA shared team workspace with members, roles, teams, and projects.
MemberA person who belongs to an organization.
SeatA member slot your plan allows.
RoleThe access level a person has: Owner, Admin, Member, or Viewer.
TeamA group of members, used to grant access together.
ProjectA container for related sessions, trajectories, and stories with its own access.
InvitationAn email link that lets someone join your organization.
PlanYour subscription, which sets your seats and storage quotas.
QuotaA limit set by your plan, such as storage or seats.
StructureA molecular model loaded into the viewer.
TrajectoryA series of frames showing how a structure moves over time.
FrameA single snapshot of a structure within a trajectory.
ComponentA part of a structure you can show and style independently.
RepresentationHow a component is drawn (cartoon, sticks, surface, and so on).
Color schemeA rule for coloring a structure or component.
LigandA small molecule bound to a larger structure.
InteractionA non-covalent contact, such as a hydrogen bond.
MeasurementA distance, angle, or dihedral you measure in the viewport.
AnnotationA label or note you add on top of the 3D view.
SessionYour saved state of loaded structures and settings, which can be shared live.
StoryA guided, step-by-step walkthrough of a structure you can build and share.
CapsuleA self-contained, shareable package of your work.
