Inviting & Managing Members

Invite people to your organization by email, assign their role, and manage access.

As an Owner or Admin, you add people to your organization by sending an email invitation. This page covers inviting members, what they receive, and how to manage them afterward.

Invite a member

Open your organization's Members settings.
Click Invite and enter the person's email address.
Choose their role — Owner, Admin, Member, or Viewer (see Roles & permissions).
Send the invitation. The person receives a link that is valid for 7 days.

Should show: the organization Members page with a table of current members (name, email, role) and an Invite button; the invite dialog open with an email field and a role selector (Owner / Admin / Member / Viewer).

What the invitee sees

  • They open the invitation link from their email.
  • If they don't have an account yet, they create one (their email is locked to the invitation).
  • On accepting, they join your organization with the role you chose, and land in the organization's workspace.

Each invitation link is single-use and expires after 7 days. If it expires, simply send a new invitation.

Seats and limits

Each member occupies a seat. Your plan defines how many seats are available.

If your organization has reached its seat limit, new invitations cannot be accepted until a seat frees up or your plan is upgraded. See Storage & quotas.

Manage existing members

From the Members page you can:

  • Change a member's role (Owners and Admins).
  • Remove a member from the organization.

Members can also leave an organization themselves. Note that an organization must always keep at least one Owner.
